The owner of Splash Pools, Chemicals and Supplies in downtown Wallaceburg says recent media attention about a chlorine shortage is being blown out of proportion.
Mary Anne DeVylder told the Sydenham Current the impact of a plant burning down in the United States last August will not affect stock at their Wallaceburg store.
However, DeVylder added if people start hoarding chlorine pucks, it could turn into a similar situation that was seen last year with the toilet paper shortage.
