Female arrested on outstanding warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning an officer on general patrol in Chatham observed a female in the area of King Street East who was known to be wanted on a warrant for failing to comply with her release order.

The 41-year old female was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.

Man charged with theft and possession

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning police responded to a business on Park Avenue West in Chatham for a shoplifting complaint.

The male had concealed items in his jacket and left the store with no intention of paying for the items.

The 31-year old male was arrested for theft and possession under $5,000, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.

Disturbance

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon police responded to the area of Lansdowne Avenue in Chatham as it was being reported that there was a male in the area that was yelling.

Police attended and located the male.

Through investigation the male was found to be causing a disturbance.

The 33-year old male was arrested, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.

Man charged with domestic assault and mischief

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night police responded to a residence on Mary Street for reports of a possible domestic dispute.

Through investigation a 25-year old male was arrested for assault and mischief.

The male was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.

Female arrested on outstanding warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning and officer on general patrol in Chatham located a female in the area of King Street who was known to be wanted on several outstanding warrants for failing to attend court.

The 27-year old female was arrested on the strength of the warrants, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.
