A local resident captured a photo earlier this week of some turtles basking in the sun in the Sydenham River.
“It appears a new turtle ‘log dating site’ has started up in Wallaceburg,” said Doug Babbitt, who submitted the photo to the newspaper.
“While out enjoying the Sydenham River we came across several logs in a row covered in turtles by the Hospital. This is just one of the logs. We do live in a beautiful area.”
