Due to an increase in supply, there will be Moderna walk in vaccination appointments available today, June 14, 2021 at the Bradley Centre vaccination clinic in Chatham on a first come first served basis.
CK Public Health officials say individuals who meet the following criteria can walk in to receive a vaccination from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m:
– Anyone 18+ requiring a first dose
– Second dose for those: age 70+, have had a Pfizer or Moderna first dose on or before April 18th
– Those who had a first dose of AstraZeneca prior to April 19, 2021

Also, the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit officials updated their ‘current status’ page of their website on Monday, June 14, 2021.
Public health officials say an estimated 66% of Chatham-Kent’s population 12 + have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 14% have receives two doses.
A total of 75,081 doses have been administered to date, 62,097 people have received at least one dose and 13,841 people have received two doses.
The active COVID-19 case count sits at 11.
The total number of COVID-19 cases sits at 1,872 across Chatham-Kent, with zero new cases announced over the weekend.
CK Public Health officials say two people are hospitalized with COVID-19 from Chatham-Kent.
A total of 1,844 cases have been resolved.
There are currently zero active outbreaks.
Seven of the active cases across Chatham-Kent are linked to close contact, two cases are linked to outbreaks outside of Chatham-Kent, one case has information pending and one case is linked to travel.
CK Public Health officials say a total of 241 Chatham-Kent residents have had COVID-19 with a variant of concern or related mutation.
A total of 114,524 tests for the virus have been completed to date.
Since the pandemic began last March a total of 17 people from Chatham-Kent have died from COVID-19.
