Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at an apartment in Wallaceburg.
Approximately $4,000 worth of suspected Fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and lorazepam was seized.
Officers also seized a large quantity of Canadian cash, a .177 caliber firearm, conductive energy weapon (taser), digital scales, packing materials, debt lists and several cell phones.
A 34-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with:
– Possession for the purposes of trafficking x 4
– Failing to comply with his release conditions x 3
– Possession of a prohibited weapon
– Possession of a firearm contrary to a Prohibition Order
– Possession of a prohibited weapon contrary to a Prohibition Order
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
