A court order has been issued to area Old Colony Mennonite churches.
“Please be advised that a Court Order was issued (Thursday) by the Superior Court of Justice to the Old Colony Mennonite Churches on Cundle Line, Grove Mills Line and Wheatley Road,” Chatham-Kent Police Service officials said in an email on Friday, June 25, 2021.
“The Court Order specifically deals with the contravention of restrictions relating to capacity, masking and physical distancing.”
Police officials directed the media to the Ministry of Attorney General for further details.
Several charges have been laid under the Ontario Reopening Act at the churches in the past six months.
