Warrant arrests

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 30 year old man was arrested on Third Street in Chatham shortly after 10 a.m. on Friday on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.

He was released from custody on a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Just before 4 p.m. on Friday, a 39-year-old man was arrested at a Richmond Street address in Chatham on warrant for theft under $5,000 and possession under $5,000.

He was released from custody on a future court date.

Refusal to provide breath sample

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Around 11 p.m. on Friday, police received a driving complaint of a vehicle travelling at excessive speeds in the area of Kimball Road in Wallaceburg.

After a traffic stop was performed, the 31-year-old driver, who was found to be under the influence of alcohol, refused to provide a breath sample and was subsequently arrested.

Her vehicle was impounded for seven days and her license was suspended for 90 days.

She was later released from custody with a future court date.

Impaired driving

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly before 4 a.m., police received a call regarding a vehicle driving on Oxley Drive Chatham, that had struck multiple parked cars.

Police located the driver, a 20-year-old woman, who was arrested for impaired driving.

Her vehicle was impounded for seven days and her license was suspended for 90 days.

She was later released from custody with a future court date.
