Chatham-Kent enters Step Three of the Roadmap to Reopen

With the Province entering Step Three of the Roadmap to Reopen today Friday, July 16, 2021 residents can look forward to enjoying more of the great things in Chatham-Kent, Municipal officials say.

“With an increase in outdoor social gathering limits and the reopening of indoor dining and events, there is so much to be excited for this summer,” Municipal officials said in a social media post.

“Personal care services are in full swing, the core, including hair salons and barbers, manicure and pedicure salons, spas and tattoo studios. This is on top of the patios and non-essential retail stores that have already been serving Chatham-Kent for weeks.”

Municipal officials added: “With so many great restaurants and cafes, retail shops and entertainment options reopening check out Visit CK for exciting places to visit.”

As previously reported, with key public health and health care indicators continuing to improve and the provincewide vaccination rate surpassing the targets outlined in the province’s Roadmap to Reopen, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health the Ontario government decided to move the province into Step Three of the Roadmap to Reopen at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021.
