The Pain Court Elevated Water Tank has made it the top Canadian entry in a contest involving some 300 tanks across North America. Nearly 300 water tanks were nominated, and more than 23,000 online votes were cast in 2020 from across the U.S. and Canada. Pain Court was the highest-voted Canadian tank during the People’s Choice portion of the Tank of the Year competition. Chatham-Kent Public Utilities Commission General Manager, Tim Sunderland noted that this is the fourth elevated tank in Chatham-Kent that has been rehabilitated in the last eight years.
