Employment Opportunity at the Wallaceburg and District Museum

We are currently seeking a Business Administrator/Office Manager to handle the day-to-day operation of our non-profit museum including:

– General financial administration, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and overseeing museum approved budget.
– Human resources/payroll administration.
– Health and safety.
– Maintain volunteer and membership programs.
– Volunteer liaison.
– Comprehensive office management.
– Action plan reporting.

Working closely with the board, curator, and other staff, you will manage the Wallaceburg and District Museum and the Von Ayres Cultural Centre, serving as point person for general office and financial procedures and interoffice communications. Adhere to, plan, and develop procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the museum. Act as reception during open hours, taking admission and giving directions to guests, service personnel and contractors when needed.
