Police looking for public’s assistance
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On August 28 around 4 a.m. unknown suspects stole a white 2016 Volvo VVN transport truck from a business on Richmond Street.
The vehicle has blue numbers on the front right and left side 2115.
The truck was last seen with Ontario license plates PA32432.
The transport has since been located.
In addition to this theft at 4:05 a.m. on the same date, suspects removed a 53 foot Refrigerated trailer from a business on Bothwell Street in Chatham.
The trailer is all white in colour and was last seen with Ontario License Plate K3652T.
The trailer is still outstanding.

Break and enter in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime overnight on Friday, unknown suspects threw a stone through the window of a business on Raleigh Street in Chatham, causing about $400 damage.
The suspects reached inside of the damaged window and stole jewelry from a display case.
Total value of the theft has been estimated at $150.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime since August 26, unknown suspects entered a vacant building on William Street in Wallaceburg, causing about $30 damage.

Man charged with domestic related offences
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday afternoon, police responded to a disturbance at a residence in Tilbury.
Through investigation, police learned that a verbal argument between the couple escalated into a physical altercation.
The woman was hit in the side of the head and punched in the face.
The 50-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and charged with assault and assault with a weapon.
He was released with a future court date of September 21st, 2021.
Suspicious person complaint leads to arrest
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police responded to the report of a suspicious man on Queen Street in Chatham.
Officers located the man and through investigation learned that the man had a warrant out for his arrest.
The 51-year-old man was arrested and released pending a future court date of September 29th, 2021.
