Man charged with causing a disturbance
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police responded to the report of a suspicious man on Witherspoon Street in Chatham.
A 23-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with causing a disturbance.
He was released pending a future court date of October 1, 2021.
Family dispute leads to arrests
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a family dispute at a residence in Wallaceburg.
Through investigation, police learned that a teen in the home was causing a disturbance, even though he was on conditions not to attend this residence.
Officers found the teen hiding in the basement.
The 17-year-old male youth was arrested and charged with failing to comply with his release conditions.
He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
A 45-year-old Wallaceburg woman was also arrested and charged with facilitating a breach.
She was released pending a future court date of October 5, 2021.
Man charged with break and enter
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Just before 1 a.m. this morning, police responded to an alarm at The Garden on King in downtown Chatham.
Officers located the suspect a short distance away.
A 51-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with break and enter.
He was released pending a future court date of October 5, 2021.
Warrant arrests
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Sunday morning, just before 9:30 a.m. an officer on general patrol observed a male on the Communication 401 Overpass.
A query of the male revealed he had an outstanding warrant with the Chatham-Kent Police Service.
The Chatham man was arrested and later released with a future court date.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Sunday morning at 10 a.m. the Sarnia Police Service notified Chatham-Kent that they had a female in custody that was wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service.
She was arrested and later released with a future court date of October 4, 2021.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Sunday morning, just before 10 a.m. Windsor Police Service notified Chatham-Kent that they had a male in their custody that was currently wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service.
Officers attended Windsor and took custody of the male.
The Windsor man was arrested and released with a future court date of October 15, 2021.
Break and enter in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Sunday night, just after 10 p.m. police were called to an address on Park Sreet in Chatham in regards to a suspicious person that had entered a residence.
Upon police arrival, the man was located on the sidewalk in front of the house.
Through investigation, it was revealed that once inside the residence the man stole some food prior to leaving.
An Alvinston man was arrested and charged with break and enter as well as uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death.
He was transported to CKPS Headquarters.
He was later released on an Undertaking with a future court date of October 5, 2021.
Break and enter in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime Saturday night unknown suspects entered a business on Colborne Street by throwing a rock through a window.
Once inside the suspects removed a table saw valued at $500

Man arrested for breaching release condition
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, a male attended an address on Base Line in Wallaceburg, contrary to his release conditions.
A Chatham man was subsequently arrested and charged.
He was later released with a future court date of September 22, 2021.
Man arrested for breaching release condition
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday morning at 10 a.m. an officer on general patrol in Blenheim observed a vehicle parked in a driveway on Malborough Street.
The officer recognized this vehicle from previous interactions.
As a result of investigation, a 36-year old Blenheim man was arrested and charged for attending the address contrary to his release conditions.
The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Female arrested for assault
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday afternoon, shortly after 1 p.m., police responded to a report of a family dispute on Foster Street in Chatham.
As a result of the investigation, a 36-year old female was arrested for one count of assault.
She was later released with a future court date of October 6, 2021.
Man arrested for failing to provide DNA sample
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday after noon, just before 4 p.m. officers on general patrol in the town of Wallaceburg observed a man that was known to be wanted on two outstanding warrants.
A Wallaceburg man was arrested and transported to CKPS Headquarters to provide a DNA sample that he failed to attend for.
He was later released on an appearance notice with a future court date of September 21, 2021.
Liquor License Act arrests
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday afternoon officers attended an address on Wallace Street in the town of Wallaceburg in regards to a disturbance.
As a result, a 24-year old male from Kingston was found to be unable to care for himself and was arrested.
He was transported to CKPS Headquarters and held until sober.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday evening, just before 11 p.m. Police were called to an address on Sandys Street in Chatham in regards to a disturbance.
Police located a male unable to care for himself.
The 39-year old Tilbury man was arrested and held in police custody until sober.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early Sunday evening, just after midnight, police were called to an address on Grand Avenue East in Chatham in regards to another disturbance between two parties.
As a result, a 30-year old Chatham female was arrested for breach of peace as well as being unable to care for herself.
She was held in custody until sober.
Man arrested for theft
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday evening, just before 11 p.m. a police officer on general patrol located a male stealing metal from a business on Queen Street.
A Chatham man was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000.
He was released on a appearance notice with a future court date of October 20, 2021.
