Bresett: Gertrude “Trudy” (Ritchie) a resident of R.R.#1 Croton, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the age of 89.
Born in New Boston, Michigan, daughter of the late Warren and Greta (Webster) Ritchie.
Trudy loved to sew, cook, bake, and host family gatherings at her home.
Beloved wife of the late Keith Bresett (2013).
Loving mother of Jane Rich (Rob) and Judy Annett (Byron).
Sadly missed by her grandchildren Matthew Hopper (Trina), Quade Hopper (Jerika), Chad Annett (Stephanie), Olivia Annett, Reid Annett (Riley) and great-grandchildren Delylah, Heith, and Delaney.
Dear sister of Grace Goodhand (Glen), and Linda Brackstone.
Also survived by a special niece Melody Smyth (Mark); honorary grandma of Bennett and Payton Smyth; and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a daughter Carol, a sister Charlotte Ritchie, a brother Arthur Ritchie, sisters-in-law Phyllis Hunt, Verla Ritchie; brothers-in-law Ron Hunt, and Mark Brackstone and a nephew Bradley Hunt.
At Trudy’s request cremation has taken place.
A graveside service will be held in Dresden Cemetery at a later date.
