Industrial accident in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Just before 3 a.m. this morning, police responded to an industrial accident at a factory in Chatham.

A 30-year-old Chatham man was injured and transported to hospital for medical attention.

The Ministry of Labour was notified and has taken over the investigation.

Stolen vehicle in Camden Township

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, unknown suspects stole a tan 2008 Ford Fusion from a residence on Base Line.

The car was last seen with Ontario license plates CTPJ 590.

Break and enter in Chatham Township

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime yesterday between 4 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. unknown suspects entered a residence on McGregor Line and stole electronics, personal identification and cash.

Motor vehicle collision in Tilbury

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Mill Street East between Station Street and Tilbury Street.

No one was injured.

Total damage was estimated at $15,000.

A 67-year-old Mississauga woman was charged with making a turn not in safety.
