‘Movie Mondays’ starting at the Wallaceburg Museum next month

The Wallaceburg Museum will be hosting movie nights starting this December on select Monday nights, and throughout 2022.

The Museum’s new events and marketing coordinator Chris Glassford has selected titles which he believes are either classics or thought provoking.

Glassford says the movies are a way to keep people connected, safe and entertained.

“We are really hoping these movie nights will encourage people to come out and enjoy what the museum has to offer, and hopefully we can provide a safe atmosphere for Wallaceburg movie lovers,” Glassford said, in a media release.

Movie buffs can enjoy these films for only $3 a person while children under the age of three are free.

The first movie in December is free and is “A Christmas Story” on December 6.

Movies will start at 6:30 p.m. with a few previews and local commercials before the film.

Popcorn and other concessions will be available for purchase as well and no outside food or beverages will be permitted.

Tickets can be purchased on the website or at the door.

Movie titles will be announced on the Museum’s Facebook page and website.
