The photo above shows some boxing gloves that are on display in the Wallaceburg and District Museum.
Here is what the Museum had to say about the photo:
“These gloves belonged to Roy ‘Slugger’ McIntosh (1919-2009), one of Wallaceburg’s greatest boxers.
In fact, he was Golden Gloves Champion from 1940-1942.
He was inducted into the Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame in 1985.
