Update: One deceased person identified, as OPP & Sarnia Police continue to investigate

Lambton OPP officials allege: The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has identified one of the deceased individuals involved in an ongoing investigation and want to speak to anyone who had contact with the victim prior to his death.

On December 28, 2021, shortly before 2:30 p.m., members of the Lambton OPP responded to a suspicious person call on Crooked Road in Enniskillen Township.

Human remains were located.

A separate location was identified on Watson Street in the City of Sarnia where a second death investigation commenced.

The victim located in Sarnia has been identified as 31-year-old Lance Richardson of Mississauga, Ontario.

Investigators are continuing to work with the Chief Coroner for Ontario and Ontario Forensic Pathology Services to positively identify the person found deceased in Enniskillen Township.

The investigation is continuing under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), in partnership with Sarnia Police Service (SPS), the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and Ontario Forensic Pathology Services.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who had contact with Lance Richardson in the days leading up to his death.
