Mr. Christopher Ermatinger, a resident of Walpole Island, ascended into the spirit world on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the age of 58.
Christopher was born on February 5, 1963 and is the beloved son of Patrick and Shirley (Kewayosh) Ermatinger.
Loving father of Daniel Ermatinger and Chad Ermatinger, sons of Chrystal Day.
Brother of the late Patrick Kenneth Markham Ermatinger Jr., and Paul Curtis Ermatinger.
Dear brother to Patricia Dodge, Karen Taylor, Brian Ermatinger, Michael Ermatinger, Patrick Ermatinger Jr., Russell Ermatinger and Amanda Ermatinger.
Uncle to Jennifer, Chantelle, Melanie, Yolande, Tabatha, Neebin, Colette, Cochise, Josh, Alani, Corbin, Noah, Dakota, Luke, Ian, Ethan, Paul, Kiarra and Layla.
He will be missed by many cousins, nephews, nieces and aunties Jennie Blackbird, Helena Taylor and Monnie Gilbert.
The late Christopher Ermatinger rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
He will lie in state at his sister’s home, at 176B Dan Shab Road, Walpole Island on Friday, January 7, 2022 and Saturday, January 8, 2022.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Evangelistic Centre, 156 Dan Shab Road, Walpole Island at 2 p.m.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, capacity is at 50% and masks and social distancing are mandatory.
Interment will follow in Highbanks Cemetery, Walpole Island.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to Drug Awareness/Rehabilitation Centre may be left at the funeral home.
