Traffic stop leads to warrant arrest on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: During a routine traffic stop a man was found to have an outstanding warrant for Failing to Appear in Court.

A check found the man was prohibited from driving.

The man was released on the outstanding warrant and additional charges of Operation while prohibited (x2) with a future court date of February 16, 2022.

Break and enter Lorne Avenue in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime overnight a house under renovations was entered and a quantity of tools taken.

Investigation leads to breach of probation charges on Princess Street in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A man was currently on a probation order not to associate with another person.

The man was found breaching his probation order and placed under arrest.

During the subsequent search the man was found to be in possession of controlled substances.

The man was transported to Chatham-Kent H.Q. and charged with Breach of probation(X2) and possession of a controlled substance and held for bail.
