With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Bonnie Lea Labadie “Shorty” surrounded by her family at Chatham-Kent Hospice on January 24, 2022 at the age of 85.
Devoted wife of over 60 years to Bob and loving mother of Robert (Maria) and Rick (Mary Beth).
Bonnie will be deeply missed by the many people she met and the lives she touched over the years.
She was the past president of the Wallaceburg Legion Women’s Auxiliary.
Her family would like to say thank you to all the staff and volunteers at Chatham-Kent Hospice, CKHA – Medical Units and Sydenham Campus Emergency, Dr. Ramirez, Dr. Maddison, Dr. Atoe and their staffs as well as all those involved with her homecare for all the care and compassion given to Bonnie during her illness.
Bonnie will be privately laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery with her family at a later date.
