Lambton OPP officials allege: On January 23, 2022 at 6 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted regarding a collision on Highway 402 involving snow clearing equipment striking the Mandaumin Road overpass.
Officers attended the collision scene and closed the eastbound on-ramp while crews attended to remove the involved vehicle.
The on-ramp was reopened at 11:25 p.m.
During this winter season, drivers are reminded to plan ahead and leave extra space between themselves and other vehicles.
Ensure that your vehicles are ‘winter ready’ by equipping them with winter rated tires with plenty of tread and having a basic winter emergency kit including warm clothing or blankets, snacks, first-aid kit and a phone charger.
