Lambton OPP officials allege: The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has identified the second deceased individual involved in an ongoing investigation.
On December 28, 2021, shortly before 2:30 p.m., members of the Lambton OPP responded to a suspicious person call on Crooked Road in Enniskillen Township. Human remains were located.
A separate location was identified on Watson Street in the City of Sarnia where a second death investigation commenced.
The victim located in Enniskillen Township has now been identified as 18-year-old Jelani Byer-Coates of Ajax, Ontario.
The OPP is asking that the media and public respect a request for privacy by family members of the deceased.
The investigation is continuing under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), in partnership with Sarnia Police Service (SPS), the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and Ontario Forensic Pathology Services.
