Firefighters remain on scene at 315 Elgin Street in Wallaceburg for a structure fire.
“Station #3 – Wallaceburg was called out just after 2 a.m. this morning and arrived on scene within minutes,” fire officials posted on social media on Thursday, February 17, 2022.
“Crews from Station #2 – Chatham and Wallaceburg volunteer firefighters also responded.”
Chatham-Kent Police Service and Chatham-Kent EMS are on scene and the Ontario Fire Marshal will also be attending, fire officials added.
“Still heavy smoke, please avoid the area. More info to come,” fire officials say.
