Time is running out to claim a $40-million Lotto Max jackpot from the Oct. 28, 2025, draw, with the winning ticket set to expire on Oct. 28, 2026, unless the rightful holder comes forward.
The ticket was purchased at an authorized lottery retailer in Grey County, which is part of the Georgian Triangle and includes communities such as Owen Sound, Meaford, the Blue Mountains, Flesherton, Markdale, Durham and Hanover.
The winning numbers for the Oct. 28, 2025, draw were 06, 14, 17, 19, 26, 43 and 45, with bonus number 27.
OLG says it has detailed information about the winning ticket, but because it was purchased at a retailer, the identity of the purchaser is unknown. As with all OLG prize claims, a review process is conducted to determine rightful ownership.
Anyone who believes they purchased the ticket is asked to visit the OLG.ca Unclaimed Tickets page or contact OLG at 1-800-387-0098. Players are encouraged to check places where they typically store tickets, including clothing pockets, bags, wallets, vehicle glove compartments and household drawers. OLG noted that because Grey County is a popular destination for tourists and cottagers, someone visiting the area may have purchased the ticket and forgotten to check it.
If the ticket is not claimed by Oct. 28, the $40-million prize will be returned to players through future bonus games or promotions.
