Today we are rockin’ our funky socks to raise awareness, educate, support, celebrate and encourage the inclusion of people with Down syndrome and their families across Ontario Every year, WDSD takes place on the 21st day of the 3rd month to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome. Funky, colourful and mismatched socks are worn because chromosomes are shaped similar to socks.Help us change the narrative around Down syndrome by sporting your most vibrant socks.
