Mr. Robert Deighton, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus, at the age of 77 years.
He was born in Chatham and was a son of Harold and Doris (Robinson) Deighton.
Loving father of Kimberly (Mike) Godin and Jennifer (Dave Fuhrman) Deighton.
Cherished grandfather of Jake and Maia and dear great grandfather of Brooklynn.
Kind brother of Gary (Pamela) Deighton, Debbie (Jay Travis) Deighton and Connie (Robert) Giles.
He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
The late Robert Deighton rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following his wishes cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from the First Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. A private interment of ashes will be in Oil Springs Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Children’s Hospital in London, ON or the charity of choice may be left at the funeral home.
