PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise launches new vendor database

PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise is pleased to announce the launch of an all-new Women focused Vendor Database; PAROB2B.

Connecting women owned businesses with industry leaders providing opportunity to start and expand in key industries by advertising their product and services right to industry leaders.

Founded in 1995, PARO is the largest women-centered peer-lending network in North America, and one of the strongest women enterprise centres in Canada.

Today PARO has grown immensely supporting over 22,000 businesses and accessing over $7-million dollars in grant money for their clients.

PARO collaborates to empower women, strengthen small businesses and promote community economic development across Ontario, PARO officials say.

PARO focuses on growing women owned businesses, accessing new growth opportunities, and expanding access to export markets.

PAROB2B vendor database supports all three of these aspects.

PARO has many diverse clients including Indigenous, Immigrants, French, Women of Colour, with a wide array of intersectional identities.

With the Vendor Database, PAROB2B, PARO looks to continue to help empower these women and overcome certain challenges they may face when starting or looking to expand their business.

Through the Vendor Database, Women are able to create a business profile and include a wide variety of information about their business including contact information, previous work, and key products and services offered.

“Women have been disproportionately unrepresented in many key industries throughout Ontario,” said Rosalind Lockyer, PARO’s Founder and CEO, in a media release.

“By offering PARO’s Vendor Database, we hope to connect many women owned businesses with key industry leaders to help them grow and expand.”

In the new digital age, it is easier than ever now to promote businesses online with the right tools.

PARO hopes that PAROB2B can be that tool to keep women owned businesses all across Ontario at the forefront to new consumers and industry leaders.
