Police looking for public’s assistance
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 30, 2022 a black, 2011 Polaris 850 ATV was stolen from a residence on Mull Road in Harwich Township.
The ATV is equipped with a bright yellow/green push bar and large black speakers on the front.

Man arrested for assault
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday at 2:34 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on James Street in Wallaceburg.
Upon arrival police learned a physical altercation occurred between two men.
A 21-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with one count of assault.
The man was transported to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date of July 6, 2022.
Man arrested for theft
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Sunday, May 29, 2022 an e-bike was stolen from an address on James Street in Wallaceburg.
On May 30, 2022 at 6:25 p.m., police received information the man was in possession of the e-bike.
Police followed up and confirmed the information.
The 42-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged for possession of stolen property.
He was transported to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date of June 29, 2022.
Man arrested for mischief and utter threats
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 29, 2022 at 6:58 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Queen Street in Chatham.
Through investigation police learned the man engaged in a verbal agreement with the homeowner over an employment agreement.
The man attended the address and caused damage to building materials and threatened the homeowner.
The man left prior to police arrival.
On May 30, 2022, at 7:12 p.m. the 53-year-old Blenheim man was located at his residence.
He was arrested and charged with mischief and uttering threats.
He was transported to police headquarter and later released with conditions and future court date of June 29, 2022.
Man arrested for bail violations
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 14, 2021, the man was released by the courts with conditions including remaining in his residence except under certain conditions and not to possess any wire cutting tools or break-in instruments.
On May 30, 2022, at 10:48 p.m., an officer observed the man walking alone in the area of Degge Street and Park Street in Chatham.
The man was carrying both cutters and wire.
Police arrested and charged the man with two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
He was later released with a court date of June 7, 2022.
Traffic enforcement
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Members of our Traffic Unit conducted traffic enforcement throughout the municipality yesterday, including Fairview Line, in Harwich Township, Victoria Avenue, in Chatham, Longwoods Road in Chatham Township, Chatham Street North in Blenheim, Main Street North in Bothwell, McNaughton Avenue East in Chatham Township, and Golf Course Line in Howard Township.
As a result, 14 Provincial Offences Notices and three summonses were issued.
One person was suspended for stunt driving, and the vehicle was impounded.
