Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services officials say Stations #4, #15, #7 and #1 were on scene for a structure fire at 7172 Pain Court Line.
“We are asking anyone in the surrounding area of Pain Court Line, St. Bernadette St. and Bear Line to close their windows and doors due to heavy smoke and high winds,” fire officials said on social media.
“Please avoid the area.”
Fire officials added, two people were transported to hospital with smoke inhalation.
