Man arrested on outstanding warrants
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 17, 2022 at approximately 1 p.m., police were dispatched to a trespass complaint at a retail store in Chatham.
The trespassing male was located during a traffic stop and cautioned.
The suspect’s vehicle contained several other persons.
Of note was a 32-year-old man wanted by the Chatham-Kent Police.
The 32 year old attempted to conceal his identity by providing a false name but was identified as the wanted party.
A search following his arrest yielded stolen property.
The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing on the following charges: fail to comply with release order times two, obstruct police and possession of stolen property under $5,000.
Woman arrested on outstanding warrants
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 17, 2022 at approximately 8:30 p.m., police located a 41-year-old Tilbury woman with an outstanding warrant.
The female’s warrant was for one count of mischief under $5,000.
The woman was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for processing before being released with a future court date.
Three arrested on fail to attend court warrants
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Over the last 24 hours, a 41-year-old Wallaceburg man, a 39-year-old Chatham man and a 41-year-old Wallaceburg woman were arrested on fail to attend court warrants.
The warrants in these matters, did not yield new charges.
All parties released from the scene of the arrest with a future court date.
