Lambton OPP officials allege: On June 24, 2022 at 1:30 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted regarding a single-vehicle collision on Highway 402 near Modeland Road in the City of Sarnia.
Officers attended the scene along with Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Sarnia Fire.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Both directions of Highway 402 were closed for the investigation.
The driver has been identified as Larry Bentley, 82-years-old of Sarnia.
