Aaron Hall seeking second term as Wallaceburg Councillor

Wallaceburg Councillor Aaron Hall filed his nomination papers on Thursday, June 30, 2022 and will be seeking a second term as a Municipal Councillor, representing Ward 5 – Wallaceburg.

“I’m excited to share that I’ve just filed my paperwork to run for re-election in the upcoming 2022 Municipality of Chatham-Kent Election in Ward 5 – Wallaceburg,” Hall wrote on social media.

“It has been an honour to represent my hometown on Council for the past four years and I would be grateful to continue working for the community in the next term.”

Hall was first elected to Chatham-Kent Council in 2018.

Prior to serving on Council, Hall worked as a journalist across Chatham-Kent and was the founder of the Sydenham Current.

Hall said he plans to launch a community engagement initiative during the election.

“Similar to Project 627, which I launched during the 2018 Election, I have the 2022 version – Project Onward & Upward – in the works,” Hall wrote.

“Watch for more details in the coming weeks and months. Thank-you to everyone for your continued support.”

Hall joins fellow incumbent Carmen McGregor as the only two candidates to have filed their nomination papers so far in Wallaceburg.

Election day is Monday, October 24, 2022.
