Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Wednesday July 6, 2022, shortly after 3 p.m. police responded to a collision involving a CP Cargo train and pedestrian along the CP Railway on Princess St N near Colborne St in Chatham.
The pedestrian, an adult female of Chatham, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service offer their deepest condolences to the family and friends of the female party.
The collision remains under investigation.
