Police: ATV stolen in Ridgetown, B&E, breach of probation

Theft of ATV

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime since July 21, 2022, unknown suspects stole a green 1999 Yamaha Timberwolf ATV from a property on Victoria Road, Ridgetown. 

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $2,000.

Breach of probation

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday at approximately 12:42 p.m. officers were dispatched to attend the area of 801 St. Clair Street, Chatham in response to a call of a suspicious person. 

The suspicious man was observed inside of the Dollarama store.

A 31-year-old Chatham man was arrested for Breach of Probation as he was under conditions not to be at the store.  

He was later released from custody with a future court date.

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 10:17 p.m. last night, an unknown male party entered the fenced compound of a business on King Street East, Chatham.

Damage was done to the storage area door.
