Man arrested for domestic offences

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Sunday police responded to a family dispute at a King Street residence in Chatham.

Through investigation, police learned a 21 year old Chatham man visited his former girlfriend’s mother’s residence and entered into an argument with her.

The argument escalated where the man damaged a phone and doorway.

The man was charged with two counts of mischief under $5,000, and later released with a future court date of August 17, 2022 to answer to the charge.

Man arrested for breach of peace in Tilbury

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately midnight on Sunday night, police attended an address on Fort Street, Tilbury, for a disturbance.

A 32-year-old intoxicated Tilbury man party contacted police multiple times with no complaint revealed.

The man was arrested for Breach of the Peace and transported to police headquarters, where he was later released from custody, when sober.

Trespassing

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Monday morning at approximately 12:30 a.m., a 33-year old Chatham woman attended her friends residence and continually knocked on the door, refusing to leave the property.

Officers attended and located the woman in the backyard.

The woman was arrested for Trespassing, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service and lodged until sober.
