Ronald Albert Modde of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully at Fairfield Park on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the age of 87.
Ron was the son of Emery & Martha Elizabeth (Van Dommelen) Modde.
Beloved husband of 65 years to Yvonne Victoria (Engels).
Loving father of Shelley Aarssen (Peter), Tammy Dobbelaar (Tony) and Jason (Cassie).
Dear grandfather of Brady (Lynsey), Shaylin (Max), Danielle (Austin), Levi, Shayne (Kaity), Dylan (Shai) and Lake and great grandfather of Lillia, Adele, John Paul, Leo, Sawyer, Brinley, baby Dobbelaar and baby Kemmerling and the late Wren Dobbelaar.
Brother of the late George (Irene) and Gordon (Albertine).
He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Ron was a faithful family man and pet lover who farmed in Chatham Gore and St. Clair Township.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Tuesday August 9.
The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Wednesday, August 10 at 11 AM.
Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
