The Kent Federation of Agriculture is hosting a barbecue in honor of the life and legacy of Harry Lawson on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the Dawn-Euphemia Community Centre, also known as the Florence Hall.
The day will include a barbecue and cash bar along with live and silent auctions, KFA officials say.
“Harry was well known and respected in many circles due to his decades of service with involvement in the Grain Farmers of Ontario and as a board of director with the KFA, organizers said in a media release.
“Harry’s passing this past February was a great loss to the Chatham-Kent agricultural community.”
The event will run from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Proceeds will go to the London Heslth Sciences Centre Foundation in honour of Lawson.
