Police: Trailer filled with tools stolen in Chatham, officers assist with crisis

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, at approximately 11:40 a.m. officers were dispatched to an address on Cabot Trail, Chatham.

Through investigation, officers learned that a white, 14’ dual axel, utility trailer, was stolen.

The trailer had a large “Weiser Performance” sticker on the front of it and an Ontario Licence plate P72 62K.

The trailer contains an abundance of power tools.

Police assist

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On September 1, 2022 at approximately 1 a.m. officers were dispatched to attend to an address on Gregory Drive in Chatham with regards to a person in crisis.

Officers responded and negotiated for several hours, eventually taking the person to hospital for treatment.

Chatham-Kent Police Service will not be commenting further into the matter out of respect to the parties involved.
