Warrant arrest
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On September 3, 2022, while in the area of Wallace St., Wallaceburg, police located a 29 year old male who was known to be wanted by the Chatham-Kent police for three separate warrants; a first instance, probation and DNA warrant.
The male was arrested, transported to CKPS headquarters, processed and then released with a future court date.
Breach of release
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On September 4, 2022, police found a 22 year old Chatham man breaching his release order in the area of Wellington St., Chatham.
Police went to arrest the man and he attempted to flee.
Police caught the man and transported him to CKPS headquarters.
While being searched at the station, police found evidence that the man was trafficking in controlled substance.
Police additionally charged the man and held him for bail.
Public intoxication
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On September 4, in the early morning hours, police observed a male jumping a fence and gaining access to the area around the gas explosion site in Wheatley.
Police arrested the 20 year old male for trespassing.
The man was intoxicated an unable to care for himself and was therefore transported to CKPS headquarters and held until sober.
