Man charged with domestic related offences
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police responded to a disturbance at a residence in Wallaceburg.
Through investigation, police learned that during a verbal argument, the man assaulted and threatened his girlfriend.
Upon being searched incident to arrest, the man was also found to be in possession of suspected fentanyl.
The 34-year-old Walpole Island man was charged with assault, uttering threats and drug possession.
He was released pending a future court date of October 27, 2022.
Stolen vehicle in Ridgetown
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime over the past couple weeks, unknown suspects stole a grey 2002 Chev Silverado pick-up truck from a business on Golf Course Line.
The truck was last seen with Ontario license plates 103 5VN.

Break and enter in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between Tuesday at 5 p.m. and Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. unknown suspects damaged a window to a business on King Street West in Chatham, causing about $500 damage.
While reaching inside the broken window, the suspects stole four purses, valued at approximately $280.

Residential break and enter
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime yesterday between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. unknown suspects forced their way into a residence on Dillon Road.
Once inside, the suspects stole Canadian Tire money and personal documentation.
