The Kent Federation of Agriculture, Grain Farmers of Ontario District Two and the Christian Farmers Federation Essex-Kent are hosting a meet and greet with the candidates in the upcoming 2022 Chatham-Kent municipal election.
The event is being held at the Portuguese Canadian Social Club, located at 346 Grand Avenue East in Chatham, on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“Choose your candidate like you choose a combine… make an informed choice,” organizers say.
“Meet one-on-one with the candidates in your ward. Hear their ideas. Share what matters to you.”
The event will be an open house format and candidates for Mayor and Council have been invited and are set to be arranged throughout the hall.
“Take a moment to make sure our next Council knows the concerns and goals of rural Chatham-Kent,” organizers added.
Candidate introductions will take place throughout the evening as well.
