CKPL launches new online catalogue

On October 3, the Chatham-Kent Public Library officially launched a new online catalogue that makes it easier for patrons to discover their next favourite book by simplifying the searching process.

Now all the different formats (ebook, audiobook, large print, book on CD, regular print, playaway) a title is available in will roll up together as a single search result, simplifying the process of discovering a new great read.

Library officials say through the online catalogue CKPL card members are able to shop all the titles available in CKPL’s print and digital collections and can request the titles that are interest to them.

Patrons can also manage their holds, renew checked out items, review their reading history, create lists of books to explore later, pay fines and read reviews and rate the titles they’ve read.
