Man arrested on a warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 8:11 a.m., police responded to a disturbance at a business on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg.

The police received information a man was yelling at the employee.

Police arrived and located the man.

Through investigation, police learned the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.

The 47-year-old Walpole Island man was arrested and released with a future court date of November 7, 2022.

Man arrested for mischief

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On October 19, 2022, at 1:41 a.m., police responded to Blake Street in Wallaceburg for mischief.

Police learned the homeowner heard a noise and looked outside his home.

He observed a man pick up a rock and throw it at his vehicle, cracking the windshield.

Police attended and located the man a short distance away.

The 47-year-old Walpole Island man was arrested and charged with mischief.

He was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of November 7, 2022.
