Municipality of Chatham-Kent officials say Dr. Kangeswaren resigned his role as Acting Medical Officer of Health with The Corporation of The Municipality of Chatham-Kent and the Chatham-Kent Health Unit effective October 21, 2022 to pursue other opportunities.
“We wish Dr. Kangeswaren well in his future pursuits,” Municipal officials said in a media release.
The Board of Health will begin its search for a new Medical Officer of Health immediately.
In the meantime, Dr. David Colby will provide Medical Officer of Health coverage while we search for a replacement.
