Employers across Chatham-Kent have a chance to share their experiences with the local workforce through the Chatham-Kent EmployerOne Survey.
Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board (CKWPB) officials say the EmployerOne Survey asks employers about recent workforce challenges and successes in 2022, as well as projections for 2023.
CKWPB is releasing the annual survey for the month of November at www.letstalkchatham-kent.ca/employeronesurvey.
The survey takes between 10-30 minutes to complete and gives employers a chance to help build a stronger local workforce by sharing evolving on-the-ground insights.
“The CKWPB is committed to ongoing research to enhance local labour market planning in the Chatham-Kent region,” said Mark Benoit, Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board Director, in a media release.
“It’s important to hear from employers so we have reliable information that will help guide and develop our workforce to meet local needs.”
The CKWPB and EmployerOne Survey are supported by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, CKWPB officials say.
Survey findings provide the ministry, CKWPB, and local stakeholders insight into the local workforce and guide collective action to address challenges and embrace opportunities, CKWPB officials added.
The EmployerOne Survey link, as well as past reports, may also be accessed at www.ckworkforcedev.com.
The survey results will be posted to the website in early 2023.
