52nd annual Santa Claus Parade being held in Wallaceburg on Saturday

The Knights Of Pythias is holding their 52nd annual Santa Claus Parade in Wallaceburg on Saturday, November 19, 2022.

The parade is set to begin at 2 p.m. from Arnold Street. The lineup will begin at 11 a.m.

“We are asking participants to begin thinking of creative ways to use their floats to share this years theme… Spirit of Christmas,” organizers say.

“We ask that there be only one Santa. Santa will be at the back of the parade. Participants are permitted to distribute candy but for safety reason it must not be thrown from the float. We are asking that you have people walking alongside your float, truck or car and hand out your candy please.”

New this year is a prize for best overall float.

All floats must be registered to win.

Prizes, include:

– 1st $100 + Plaque

– 2nd $75 + Plaque

– 3rd $50 + Plaque

“The Knights of Pythias will be accepting food donations at the parade,” organizers say.
