Charges laid on the 401

OPP officials allege: On November 21, 2022, at approximately 3:55 a.m., an officer with the Chatham Detachment stopped a passenger vehicle for speeding on the Eastbound Highway 401, Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

The investigating officer administered a roadside approved screening device (ASD) test, registering a warning.

The driver, 43-year-old of Stoney Creek, Ontario was charged with Speeding 1 – 49 Km/h over posted limit and issued a Three-Day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS).
