Man arrested for impaired driving

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:57 p.m., emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision on Wheatley Road in Tilbury East Township.

The vehicle left the roadway and struck a hydro pole on the east side of the road.

Through investigation, the police believed the man was driving his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and he was arrested and transported to police headquarters.

A 28-year-old Leamington man has been charged with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.

He has been released with conditions pending a future court date of January 3, 2023.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 10:20 a.m. Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) was contacted by St. Thomas Police Service advising they had a man in custody that was wanted on a CKPS warrant.

The man was transported to CKPS headquarters and has been charged with failing to comply with a probation order.

The 35-year-old Chatham-Kent man was held pending a bail hearing.

Woman arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 11:13 p.m., CKPS was contacted by Sarnia Police Service advising they had a woman in custody that was wanted on a CKPS warrant.

The woman was transported to CKPS headquarters and has been charged with failing to attend court.

The 31-year-old Sarnia woman was held pending a bail hearing.
