Man arrested on warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On December 3, 2022 members of the Chatham-Kent Police attended an address in Chatham for a suspicious person complaint.

The suspect was located and identified as a 20-year-old Chatham man with an outstanding warrant.

The warrant was endorsed and as such the man was arrested and released from the scene with a future court date.

Woman arrested on warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On December 3, 2022 members of the Chatham-Kent Police received a call for service in Chatham.

While attending to this call for service, a 27-year-old Chatham woman was identified and found to have outstanding warrants.

There were 10 warrants in total, several being unendorsed.

The woman was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Man found stunt driving in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On December 3, 2022 a member of the Chatham-Kent Police was on general patrol when they observed a Dodge Charger traveling at a high rate of speed in the area of Wellington Street West in Chatham.

A successful traffic stop identified the driver as a 26-year-old man from Raleigh Township.

The driver was charged with Stunt Driving under the Highway Traffic Act and provided a court date.

His vehicle was impounded for seven days, and his driver’s license was suspended for 30 days.
