Blain Bunning is Chatham-Kent’s 2023 “New Year’s Baby.”
The baby boy was born to parents Alyssa and Mark Bunning at 4:48 a.m. on January 1, 2023.
“We are happy to announce we welcomed the first baby of 2023 for Chatham-Kent,” the Midwives of Chatham-Kent posted on social media.
Midwives Jenn and Simone were in attendance, the group said.
Blain is 6 lbs. 8 oz. and 51.5 cm long.
“Congratulations to the family on starting the New Year off right,” the Midwives of Chatham-Kent added.
Published reports indicate Blain is the Bunning’s second child, joining big brother Oliver, who is three-years-old.
